The requirements and roles of staff on The Most Popular Girls in School wiki.

Bureaucrats

Bureaucrats are senior editors. As well as being full Administrators, they have management abilities where they can grant limited user rights. Demotion of Bureaucrats is not done without a community discussion, unless absolutely necessary.

The bureaucrat position is the only position where the decision of whether a user becomes that position is only decided among the top levels of Staff. Becoming a bureaucrat is up to the admins and bureaucrats, since it's the highest normal rank. However, if the wiki has no bureaucrats at the time, then users will vote for other users for the position in the Forum.

The Most Popular Girls In School Wiki holds every right to decline a user's request for any position for any reason. Adjustments may be made for a specific user. However, they may not be made for every user trying to get the position.

Administrators

Administrators are trusted editors, equipped with the tools to keep the wiki running smoothly. They can issue blocks to troublesome editors, revert vandalism using the rollback tool, and delete and move pages. They are authorized to use the tools at their disposal to deal with issues facing the wiki to the best of their ability.

Administrators are generally expected to meet the following standards:

  • Shown experience in past editing and discussions.
  • Knowledgeable of editing and our policies.
  • Willing and able to communicate with and help users in a courteous manner.
  • Active.
  • 700+ edits.
  • 3+ months of activity.

All applications are considered by the Most popular Girls in School Wiki community, who offer input and support/opposition. A week after an application is submitted (or sooner if the consensus is clear), an Administrator will determine the consensus of the vote and discussion (or extend the time period if needed). If your application fails, don't be discouraged! Take any advice into mind, and re-apply after a bit of time when you think you're ready again.

Adjustments may be made for a specific user. However, this is not guaranteed.

Support Administrators

Support Administrators are assigned specific duties which must be completed within two to four weeks.

Rollbacks and Moderators

3 Spots open (Must be active)

Rollbacks and Moderators are generally expected to meet the following standards:

  • Fairly active.
  • 500+ edits.
  • 3+ months of activity.

Chat Moderators

6 Spots open

Chat Moderators are generally expected to meet the following standards:

  • 125+ edits.
  • 3+ months of activity.
  • Fairly active.

Activity for a user applying for chat moderator must be checked by the chat-active admins, bureaucrats, and already existing chat moderators.

For example, if a user applies for chat mod, then the chat-active chat mods, admins, and bureaucrats must agree upon whether the user applying is active in the chatroom. If the selected staff admit to not seeing the user in the chat a lot, then the user will be automatically given a rejection. If the selected staff state that they see the user in the chatroom a lot, then the user will then be checked for meeting the edit and month requirements, and then finally a poll will be put up if the two requirements are made (unless an exception is applied).

Exceptions may not be applied for the chat activity.

Process

This process of the selected staff checking with each other for whether the user is chat active may take days, or even weeks.

The staff members (admins, bureaucrats, and chat mods) in this process must be active in the chat themselves before saying whether they see the user in the chat a lot or not.

For example, if an admin wants to give an opinion on a user being active in the chat or not, but they themselves are not active in the chat, then they will not be able to share their opinions. We want only people active in the chat to determine whether a user is active in the chat, to prevent a biased conclusion.
